Pocket watches or wristwatches are also suitable for recycling, provided the case or strap contains precious metal.
Unfortunately, an assessment of the purchase value can only be made on-site in this case, as in many cases, such as wristwatches, different alloys have been used due to a strap change. An on-site inspection allows us to make you a fair offer. Of course, in this case, too, the inspection and offer are free of charge and non-binding.
Brand-name watches, such as Rolex, Breitling, and similar, are also purchased after inspection by our watchmaker. For these products, the material of the case and strap is irrelevant.
Please understand that a detailed inspection and the submission of an offer to you cannot be carried out directly on site, as over time, almost perfect counterfeits have entered the market and these can only be detected by an expert.
Furthermore, not only the outward appearance but also the condition of the movement is crucial. The accompanying papers, certificate, receipt, any instruction manual, and the original packaging are crucial for determining the purchase price and should be presented.
Excluded from purchase are watches containing non-precious metals and so-called lifestyle products from manufacturers such as Gucci and D&G.
